Product identity and evidence
Ask for photos or a live demonstration of the exact model, not only a conceptual rendering. Request the current specification sheet, accessory list, installation requirements and operating manual. Product names used for marketing can cover several configurations.
Production and quality
Discuss how samples are approved and how changes are controlled in production. Ask what checks happen before packing and how a buyer can review the results. Certificate badges should be tied to a current document and the model in your quotation.
Commercial terms
Get lead time, minimum quantity, sample cost, payment milestones, packaging, shipping responsibilities and warranty scope in writing. Ask who supplies replacement parts and how service requests are handled across borders.
Customization
If you need brand or product changes, send a written brief. Have the supplier identify which items are feasible, which require new tooling or testing, and how they affect schedule and documentation. Keep the final approved sample and specification connected to the purchase order.
